Select a base currency and allow users to convert to their preferred currency realtime via a conversion API. No API keys needed. You also have the option to auto select the users base currency. For example, your product may cost $20, when a user from india visits your site, they will see the INR equivalent of the same. Additionally, they have the option to toggle the currency and see realtime conversion.
Instructions
Add the Currency Converter component to your canvas
Set the Amount you want to convert and choose the Initial Currency (the currency you're converting from)
In Supported Currencies, select which currencies should appear in the dropdown menu for conversion
Toggle Auto Detect Currency on if you want the component to automatically detect and display the visitor's local currency based on their location
Customize the converted amount text appearance using the Text controls (font and color), and adjust Alignment and Spacing between the text and dropdown
Style the dropdown using the Dropdown controls including font, colors, background, border, padding, and configure the dropdown icon (show/hide, custom SVG, color, size, and gap from text)
How It Works
The component takes a base amount and initial currency (like USD), then converts it to your selected target currency using real-time exchange rates from an API. You can customize which currencies appear in the dropdown by selecting from 18 supported options. The text showing the converted amount and the dropdown selector can be styled independently with their own fonts, colors, and spacing. The dropdown supports custom icons, padding, borders, and can automatically detect the visitor's location to show their local currency by default.
